The Calhoun County Historic Preservation Committee Announces Proposed Local Landmark Designations for:

• Perrins Ledge (2 miles North of Kampsville, IL),
• Gray-Winneberg Cemetery (Southwest of #89 Quarry Court, Golden Eagle),
• Ruckstuhl Home (551 Meyers Lane, Brussels),
• Water Street Church (Old Church of Christ, 285 N Water Street, Hamburg), Village Church (Old Methodist Church, 245 High Street, Hamburg),

Public Hearing on April 11, 2026, 10am –  at the Old Courthouse Building, 2nd Floor, Hardin, Illinois.

The  Historic Preservation Committee is seeking public input on the proposed designations of these properties as local landmarks, recognizing their significant contributions to the community’s historic character.
